About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Consultant to join one of the UK's leading names in the removals and relocation industry.

You'll be responsible for driving revenue growth across your territory, managing the full sales process from initial enquiry through to move completion - ensuring every client receives a professional, high-quality service.

This role offers the perfect balance of office-based video surveys and field sales, giving you variety and autonomy to manage your own pipeline while representing a respected, trusted brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out customer surveys via telephone, video call, self-survey and on-site visits
  • Accurately record all enquiries and quotations
  • Identify customer needs and buying criteria
  • Prepare costings, quotations and proposals in line with margin expectations
  • Follow up all enquiries to conclusion, ensuring strong conversion rates
  • Sell additional products and services such as insurance and affiliate offerings
  • Work closely with operations to ensure seamless move planning and service delivery
  • Maintain accurate sales records and reports
  • Support operational teams when required (holiday or sickness cover)

Key Objectives

  • Achieve annual revenue and conversion targets
  • Deliver strong profit margins and customer satisfaction levels
  • Maintain accurate and timely quotation records
  • Support continuous improvement and commercial growth across the business

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven background in Removals sales, business development or account management
  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Commercially aware with an understanding of customer and market drivers
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Confident using MS Office and CRM systems
  • Experience within removals surveying
