Early Years (Reception)

SANZA Teaching agency are currently seeking an experienced teaching assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a small group of key children in early years (reception). The children all have a diagnosis of Autism.
Key responsibilities:
- Working 1:1 with key children and in small groups
- Supporting children with their learning and development
- Providing feedback to the class teacher and SEN team on children's progress
- Helping with the supervision of children during break times
- Maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment
About you:
- Experience as a teaching assistant, preferably in the early years (EYFS) reception/nursery
- A solid understanding of the early years curriculum
- Experience supporting children with Autism and additional needs
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be mobile and active as younger children are likely to run around/be very active
- A genuine desire to support young children with special needs
