The Role

As a Senior Building Surveyor, you'll work across diverse portfolios, including residential, commercial, and public sector projects. You'll deliver a broad range of services, from project management and contract administration to building pathology and technical advisory work. This role offers the chance to manage high-profile projects and develop trusted client relationships in a cooperative, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct building surveys, defect analysis, and technical due diligence.
• Manage refurbishment, maintenance, and repair projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Prepare specifications, tender documents, and schedules of work.
• Provide expert advice on building regulations, planning applications, and sustainability initiatives.
• Support junior team members, contributing to their development and fostering a culture of excellence.

About You

We are looking for a proactive and client-focused professional with:

• MRICS qualification (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of the London property market.
• Excellent technical knowledge across a wide range of building surveying disciplines.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to lead complex assignments.
• A commercial mindset, with the ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities.
