Job Requirements/Description

Reporting to the Showroom Manager, you will be part of the Showrrom team, as the Showroom Coordinator, you will be a team player who contributes to our clients dynamic environment and be responsible for supporting the execution of the Showroom strategies.

Your responsibilities include-

  • Student and customer related marketing and sales activities
  • Advise of best solutions available to showroom customers & students with good knowledge of products
  • Working with the other showroom team members with external projects
  • Assisting event/fair/display organisation and promotion
  • Marketing and sales of products to showroom customers
  • Assisting to miscellaneous admin tasks.
  • Internal reporting

Requirements of the role-

  • While experience in textile and fashion industry is a plus, it's not essential
  • A marketing and fashion qualification would be an advantage, but not a must.
  • Must be competent in Microsoft Office Suite including, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Must be very organised with the ability to multitask and balance departmental needs through communication and organisational skills
  • Good strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident in communication with a proactive approach and strong problem-solving attitude
  • Creative thinker with a strong willingness to learn, attention to detail and accuracy skills

  • Patience and empathy, especially when handling complaints or indecision.

Communication Skills

  • Clear and confident verbal communication.
  • Ability to explain product features and benefits persuasively.

Product Knowledge & Presentation

  • Strong understanding of the products on display.
  • Ability to demonstrate or explain how products work or fit into a customer's lifestyle.
  • Visual merchandising skills to keep the showroom appealing and organized.

Organisation & Attention to Detail

  • Keeping displays tidy, stock levels accurate, and promotional materials up to date.
  • Managing inventory, restocking, and reporting discrepancies.

Sales & Persuasion

  • Understanding customer motivations and gently guiding them toward a purchase.
  • Upselling or cross-selling without being pushy.

Teamwork & Flexibility

  • Collaborating with sales teams, managers, and sometimes marketing.
  • Adapting to different customer personalities and showroom needs.

Tech & Admin Basics

  • Using point-of-sale systems, booking appointments, or managing CRM tools.
  • Handling returns, exchanges, and basic paperwork.
