Small Animal Vet - OOH

Are you an experienced vet or looking to develop your interest in ECC?

Barton Veterinary Hospital, Canterbury - a well-equipped, RCVS-accredited hospital are offering a great opportunity for a dedicated vet with a passion for ECC to join their growing team.

You would support the experienced day team in providing a high level of care 24 hours a day. There is a strong ethic of teamwork in the hospital, with case discussion, knowledge sharing and a progressive environment being of paramount importance. This role would be perfect for a vet furthering their interest in ECC, with additional qualifications supported and funded. It would also suit an experienced OOH vet who wants the freedom to exercise a high level of clinical care and enjoy plenty of time to wind down and indulge their interests outside of work.

Our Facilities Include:

• High-spec ultrasound and in-house CT Endoscopy and advanced diagnostic tools
• Comprehensive in-house lab
• Multi-parameter monitoring
• 2 fully equipped theatres
• Dedicated OOH team including nurses and PCAs
• On-site accommodation available if needed

Your Shift Pattern:

• 7 night shifts and 2 weekend day shifts per 4-week cycle
• Enjoy a predictable rota with generous downtime for a true work-life balance
• Supported at all times by experienced OOH RVNs and PCAs
