Property Loss Adjuster (Hybrid)

Due to extensive growth, an insurance services provider in London is seeking an experienced Property Loss Adjuster to join their team to assist with property claims handling and business development activities.

As the Property Loss Adjuster, you will handle a range of claims of varying complexity and value and enjoy working to a broad and busy caseload. You will ideally have a strong background in both Domestic and Commercial claims, and the appetite to operate in a remote team within a fast-paced and continually evolving environment.

As the Property Loss Adjuster, you will be responsible for the following:

• Achieving agreed activity levels and consistently reducing WIP throughout the year.
• Processing invoices and approving estimates within 5 working days.
• Issuing interim fees during the claim lifecycle as required.
• Completing site notes and associated documentation within set Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Ensuring accuracy in caseloads at all times.
• Assisting in maintaining accurate management information and spreadsheets.
• Proactively managing files to reducing elapsed timescales.
• Identifying and referring potential fraud cases and recoveries within SLAs.
• Ensuring correct policy interpretation, validation, and report preparation.
• Maintaining audit-standard files and adhering to procedures for complaints and issues.
• Building strong relationships with clients, staff, and business stakeholders.
• Maintaining awareness of business opportunities and referring accordingly.
• Handling out-of-hours calls as per the pre-set rota.

The Property Loss Adjuster will have the following skills and experience:

• Proven experience in property insurance claims related handling role is essential.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with a meticulous attention to detail and analytical approach to work.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment and under pressure.
• Full UK driving licence.

You will be working Monday to Friday, from the office in London. Occasional travel may be required along with overnight stays. You may also be required to work on a rota during busy times.
