We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner to join a well-established, fast-growing, and highly respected Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) firm based just outside Woking.Working closely within a dedicated Paraplanning team, you'll support Financial Advisers on a wide range of high-net-worth and complex financial planning cases. This role suits a technically skilled, detail-oriented professional who enjoys problem-solving and thrives in a dynamic, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities - Analyse client information from Fact Finds, meeting notes, and existing records.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis including cashflow modelling, investment and pension research, and inheritance tax planning.
- Support Financial Advisers with preparation for client meetings and reviews, including portfolio analysis and recommendations.
- Research financial products and services, ensuring suitable, compliant recommendations are made.
- Prepare high-quality, tailored Suitability Reports with full disclosures and illustrations
- Attend client meetings when required to support the advice process.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations, tax legislation, and industry best practices.
- Build and manage relationships with product providers and support the in-house Investment Committee where required.
Candidate Requirements - Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 6 or working toward it preferred).
- Minimum 4 years' experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA or wealth management environment.
- Proficient in; Wrap platforms, Cashflow modelling tools, FE Analytics, Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, tax planning, trusts, protection, and IHT.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a conscientious, solution-focused approach.
- Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal.
- A team player with a proactive, professional attitude.
