Pharmacy Technician

Job Type: Full-time LocumSchedule: Monday to FridayLocation: Onsite - Aylesbury (HP19)Pay: Dependent on experienceDuties: As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work alongside Clinical Pharmacists, GP practices, and Primary Care Networks (PCNs) to support medicines optimisation and clinical pharmacy services. Your role will include:

• Reviewing discharge and clinic letters
• Supporting medication safety monitoring (e.g. high-risk drugs)
• Assisting with medicines improvement and cost-effective prescribing
• Resolving medicines-related queries with clinicians and admin staff
• Conducting audits and contributing to quality improvement projects
• Supporting Structured Medication Reviews

Essential Criteria:

• NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent)
• Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider clinical team
• Experience working within Primary Care
