Calling all passionate Early Career Design and Technology Teachers!

GSL Education's London branch are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a dynamic ECT DT Teacher to join an Ofsted rated "Outstanding" school in the vibrant borough of Redbridge! We are looking for a dedicated ECT DT Teacher who can deliver engaging and inspiring design and technology lessons, fostering a love for the subject in students.

Responsibilities of an ECT DT Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging design and technology lessons to students of varying abilities.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the school's design and technology curriculum.
• Maintain a safe and organised classroom.
• Participate in school activities and events.
• Utilise a range of teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all pupils.
• Manage behaviour effectively in the classroom.

Requirements for an ECT DT Teacher :

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards QTS with a specialism in Design & Technology.
• A strong understanding of the design and technology curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to inspire and motivate students.
• A passion for design and technology education.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills.
• A commitment to professional development.
