Quantity Surveyor

We are currently working for a Major UK Main Contractor & Developer. The group has a turnover of over 700 Million across the UK.

Over the last 25 years they have built partnering relationships and have substantial order book and a large pipeline for upcoming projects across the UK. We are working for the business unit that specialises in Refurbishment projects and works across London and the South.

They work on a mixture of new build and refurbishment schemes for private & public sector, local authority, and housing associations. Types of schemes include residential, education, regeneration, student accommodation, leisure, Retirement Living and extra care with construction values ranging from 5 million to 100+ million.

They have built a strong top tier management team that have a proven track record and strong credentials.

The Role: Quantity Surveyor - Refurbishment - Location: Hertfordshire (Hybrid) - Salary: Up to 70,000 + package

We are working with the refurbishment division of the business who partner with Local Authorities and Housing Associations to deliver Planned Refurbishment & Regeneration works including:

• Fire Remediation / Recladding
• Kitchens & Bathrooms
• Roofing
• Estate Regeneration
• Retrofit / Decarbonsation / SHDF Works
• Structural Alterations
• Internal & External Works

Duties to include but are not limited to:

• Cost estimation & Budgeting
• Procurement & Tendering
• Contract Administration
• Cost control & Financial Management
• Site Visits & Progress Monitoring
• Risk Management & Compliance
• Stakeholder Communication

The Ideal Candidate

• 4+ years experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
• Prior experience working within the Social Housing refubishment sector.
• BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or relevant subject
• Passion for the construction industry
• Driven, ambitous and able to work as part of a team.
• Full UK Driving Licence
