Our client is seeking an Orthopaedic Lead to join their Hospital, located near the prestigious Harley Street medical area. As an Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse, you will:
  • Act as an expert clinical resource within theatres and across the centre.
  • Lead and coach the team, providing clinical leadership and fostering continuous development.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to prepare operating theatres, ensuring equipment and supplies are ready.
  • Perform scrub/assisting duties, contribute to quality improvement, and promote evidence-based practice.
  • Provide expert, holistic care to perioperative patients and their families.
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure high-quality, cost-effective service.
  • Manage equipment and supplies, ensuring sterility and cost containment.

The ideal Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner will have:
  • Current NMC registration for Registered Nurses or HCPC registration for Registered ODPs with scrub training.
  • At least 3 years of post-registration experience in a theatre setting.
  • Current BLS certification; ILS certification is preferred.
  • Experience in Orthopaedic Theatres and independent problem-solving.
