BIM/CAD Manager

Key Responsibilities:
1. BIM/CAD Management and Coordination:
- Develop, implement, and maintain BIM and CAD standards, templates, and workflows.
- Manage 3D and 2D modelling for MEP systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and client requirements.
- Oversee clash detection, coordination, and resolution using tools such as Navisworks or Revit.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams for BIM-related queries.
2. Team Leadership and Training:
- Supervise and mentor BIM/CAD team members, including 2 remote workers.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance team proficiency in BIM/CAD software.
- Review team deliverables for quality assurance and ensure adherence to standards.
- Manage outsourced projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Act as the primary liaison between design, construction, and client teams.
- Facilitate model exchange and integration with principal contractors and subcontractors.
- Participate in coordination meetings and provide technical insights to resolve design challenges.
4. Technology Integration and Innovation:
- Evaluate and implement new BIM/CAD tools and technologies.
- Troubleshoot software issues and manage updates and licensing for design tools.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare, review, and issue construction drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain a centralized repository for BIM models and CAD files.
- Generate reports on project status and design progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in BIM/CAD management, preferably within the MEP sector.
- Hands-on experience with MEP design and coordination for large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
