BMS Project Manager

My client is a Tier 1 M&E contractor specialising in several sectors Pharmaceutical, Commercial, Data Centre and Petrochemical. The business has seen a significant amount of growth in the last 5 Years. With a traditional engineering mindset and reinvestment into new principals, the business expects the next two years to be a similar period of growth. After a successful year they now sit at a international turnover of over £300m.

They have secured the MEP contract on a new build commercial block in the City of London which boasts a £90m MEP package. They require a BMS specialist on this scheme.

Role: BMS Project Manager - Responsible for overseeing the delivery of the BMS systems across the scheme, they require a true specialist due to the size of the package.

Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 + Car Allowance + Travel + Healthcare + Pension

Overview of knowledge required:

• Detailed knowledge of the BMS Manager role
• Commercial understanding
• Health, Safety and Environmental systems
• Knowledge of the teams strengths and weaknesses

Roles and responsibilities:

• Manage the day to day BMS delivery of a number of Projects
• Innovate new forms of delivery, for best quality and economical delivery of projects
• Advise new technologies and utilise existing to improve the safe delivery of projects
• Manage the commercial delivery, across a number of projects with the project team
• Manage the BMS programme, reporting slippages and support the project delivery team
• Executive reporting to Management
• Support the BID teams on new opportunities
• BMS Technical support across the business unit
• Procurement of BMS Packages across a number of projects
• BMS Subcontractor management
• All other reasonable tasks assigned to you from time to time from your manager
