Caretaker

Position: Full-Time Site Manager
Hours: 7:30 AM 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Salary: £35,000pa.

Are you an experienced and reliable individual with a passion for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment? We are seeking a Site Manager to join our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Access Management: Opening and closing of school gates daily, always ensuring security.
• General Maintenance: Undertaking routine repairs, maintenance tasks, and ensuring the school premises are kept to a high standard.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Regular fire alarm testing, maintaining logs, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Support for School Operations: Assisting with event setup, moving equipment, and general site upkeep.
• Contractor Oversight: Supervising and liaising with external contractors when needed.

Requirements:

• DBS Certification: Must hold a valid and current DBS check.
• Experience: Prior experience in a site management, caretaker, or similar role preferred.
• Skills: Practical skills for general maintenance, excellent organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
• Reliability: Punctuality and a proactive approach to site management tasks are essential.
