Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Wild Recruitment are working with a well known and highly reputable business in Portsmouth in their search for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer.

You will be working in a fast paced and multi disciplined office. You will have a focus on new products and overseeing the projects from start through to completion

You will be working in a large team of engineers so a strong team player is a must!

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Ensure all projects are running smoothly and on time
• Implement design modifications on various products
• Concept design through to production release
• Oversee other engineers and their work
• Work closely with and support the manager
• Work on a wide range of products with quick turnarounds

Ideally you will:

• Have strong design experience ideally within the marine sector
• Senior level management experience
• Experience with Creo is preferred
• Be able to create 3D CAD drawings to a high standard
• Have experience working on Injection Mouldings, Castings, Fabrication and Sheet Metal
