Full-Time Long-Term Immediate Start Mainstream Secondary School

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a thriving mainstream secondary school in Greenwich. This full-time, long-term position is available for an immediate start and offers an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact on students' learning and progress.

As a valued member of the school's support team, you will assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons, lead small group or whole-class activities, and help to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. You will play an active role in promoting student achievement and fostering a positive classroom culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver small group and occasional whole-class sessions under the guidance of teaching staff

• Support lesson planning, preparation, and assessment

• Provide targeted intervention for students who need additional help

• Contribute to behaviour management and pastoral care within the classroom

• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to enhance learning outcomes

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent classroom experience (essential)

• Proven experience working with secondary-aged students

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills

• A proactive, confident, and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning
