Are you an experienced Sub Agent with a background in rail and civils projects? Do you have expertise in drainage, troughing, track works, and embankments?
Our client, a leading contractor in rail and civil engineering, is delivering high-quality projects across the Wessex, Sussex, and Kent regions. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Sub Agent to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Delivery: Oversee the day-to-day management of rail and civils projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
- Site Management: Supervise site operations, managing teams and subcontractors effectively to ensure smooth project execution.
- Technical Expertise: Provide leadership and technical input on key elements, including drainage systems, troughing installations, track works, embankment stabilisation, and associated civil works.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all works comply with health, safety, and environmental standards and adhere to industry regulations.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure clear communication and successful project outcomes.
- Progress Reporting: Prepare and present progress reports, manage budgets, and identify potential risks or challenges.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sub Agent or Site Manager in rail and civil engineering projects.
- Strong technical knowledge in drainage, troughing, track systems, embankments, and other rail/civils infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Network Rail standards and processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to dynamic site conditions.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the Wessex, Sussex, and Kent regions.
- Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or a related field (e.g., HND, BEng, or equivalent).
