As we embark on our next phase of growth and innovation, we re thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Process Technologist (13 month maternity cover) to join our Technical team based in Park Royal.
The Role:
To provide professional support in the product development process within Central Production Unit, by undertaking tasks and duties associated with product trials and product evaluation, ensuring products and process are in-line with Wasabi and customer requirements & standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrange the post-launch review meeting with various department to ensure process and product improvement are made after product launch
- Carry out ongoing process validation of relevant factory equipment to ensure site due diligence requirements are met e.g. conducting cooking-chilling validation on new equipment.
- Responsible for planning and conducting factory trials, ensuring products & process are in-line with the Wasabi and customer requirements.
- Document all data and information from factory trials including, factory trial report, shelf-life validation, organoleptic test etc comprehensively and legibly in order to establish process capabilities and support due diligence.
- Organize and arrange appropriate samples for lab analysis e.g. microbiological, chemical and transit trials, in-line with project timescales.
- Co-operate with Specification Technologist to assist with artwork checking, including allergen, ingredient declaration & nutritional information for various brands.
- Work closely with NPD , standard team and operation team to establish appropriate quality attributes for work in progress material, assembly and finished product, e.g. setting up QAS (Quality Attribute Sheet) and line standard, taking into account operational capabilities.
