Warehouse/Production Worker - Supervisor

Our online retail business has been expanding rapidly.

The opportunity has arisen for a member of staff to join our team, with the responsibility for barcode labeling goods for dispatch, and further developing this growing area of the business. The role will involve both the routine daily packing and labelling of orders received, together with associated customer service, and the longer-term development of the online retail business, including sourcing of new products and development of new sales channels. There will also be a need to supervise another member of staff.

Responsibilities:

• Open up and close on time.
• Barcode label a high volume of products each day
• Pack and label orders received via our online website, Amazon and eBay plus other marketplaces;
• Liaise with Royal Mail / couriers to book in and prepare items for collection;
• Maintain a tidy and well-organised stock storage system;
• Monitor listings and take action on under-performing product lines;

What we are looking for:

The successful applicant should have previous experience with responsibilities, and have basic knowledge of Windows on PC. Candidates from other backgrounds, including recent graduates, will also be considered on merit. We are looking for someone who:

• has a good eye for detail and accuracy;
• possesses excellent literacy and numeracy skills;
• can use their initiative;
• has drive, enthusiasm and a "can do attitude".
