Warehouse Team Leader

We're looking for a Warehouse Lead Operative to join a small, hands-on team based in the Grays/Tilbury area. This is a physically active and varied role that involves working with a wide range of vehicles, loading them securely into containers, and leading the day-to-day operations in the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and lead daily warehouse activity
• Plan and prepare work schedules alongside the office team
• Drive and position vehicles onto ramps and into racking systems
• Secure vehicles using straps and safety equipment
• Use basic tools for adjustments when needed
• Move heavy materials and assist with container loading

What we're looking for:

• Full UK driving licence - essential
• Strong vehicle driving experience and confident handling various types
• Physically fit and agile - must be able to move in and out of tight spaces
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience
• Able to follow and give instruction clearly
• Comfortable taking the lead and managing workflow
• Familiarity with tools and basic measuring is useful
• Forklift/counterbalance experience a bonus (training can be provided)
• An interest in cars is helpful but not essential

Location: Grays/Tilbury area

Hours: 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: £30,000-£32,000 (depending on experience)
