We are seeking passionate and reliable Special Needs Teaching Assistants to join our network of schools across Brentwood and Chelmsford. The RoleAs a Supply Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with a range of needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language difficulties, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- Provide 1:1 support and small group interventions where needed.
- Adapt quickly to different classrooms and follow teacher direction to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Promote inclusion and help children develop confidence, independence, and key life skills.
About YouWe are looking for enthusiastic and flexible individuals who can step into schools and have an immediate positive impact. The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working with children or young people (SEND experience desirable but not essential).
- Strong communication skills and a patient, supportive approach.
- A commitment to safeguarding and willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check.
- Availability for short-term, long-term, or day-to-day assignments.
