Salary: 50,000 - 55,000 (6 month FTC)

About Us:

Education Futures are working with an Academy Trust in Harrow. We are supporting in their search for an experienced Finance Manager to provide comprehensive, professional financial management services.

Job Overview:

As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the finance function across the schools withing the trust, managing a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

• To prepare revenue and capital annual management accounts.
• To undertake regular revenue and capital budget monitoring.
• To provide financial information for statutory and non- statutory financial returns.
• To undertake detailed analysis of income and expenditure profiles and trends to provide projections on a sound basis.
• To oversee the necessary procedures for the closure of the annual accounts.
• To provide information for internal/external audit as required.
• To maintain the Trust financial ledger in accordance with the ESFA chart of accounts.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

• ACCA or CIMA qualified, or part qualified.
• Proven experience in a similar Finance management role within the Education sector
• Familiarity with Sage 200 and Microsoft Office.

• Strategic thinking with a practical approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
