Site Welder

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Coded Site Welder to join our team for an exciting long-term period on various sites in central London. The ideal candidate will be responsible for carrying out welding works on-site, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding on structural steel and various materials according to engineering drawings.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality procedures at all times.
• Thorough inspections of welded joints and structures will be carried out by weld tester.
• Work with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
• Collaborate with site management and other trades to ensure efficient progress on projects.

Key Requirements:

• Coded Welder with current certification (preferably to ASME, BSEN or ISO standards).
• Proven experience in site welding and knowledge of welding techniques (MMA, MIG, TIG, FCAW).
• Strong understanding of welding safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• CSCS Card or equivalent site qualification.
• Full PPE and working at heights certification preferred.
