Quantity Surveyor

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for a new challenge? Our client is seeking a skilled professional to join their team, playing a key role in managing costs and contracts across a variety of construction projects.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support the Project Manager on all commercial matters.
• Advise on procurement strategies.
• Develop cost plans throughout all RIBA stages, including feasibility estimates.
• Oversee procurement, tender preparation, and reporting.
• Prepare and present cost reports on a monthly basis.
• Review and approve monthly valuations and payments.
• Manage contract income and expenditure.
• Negotiate final accounts.
• Handle commercial disputes and provide reports to the Project Manager.
• Attend financial and progress meetings with clients and contractors.
• Take on some Project Management responsibilities, offering a broader range of experience.

What We re Looking For:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Previous experience in a construction consultancy is essential.
• Strong Project Management experience.
• Excellent organisational skills with an ability to manage time effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build good relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Reliable, professional, and able to handle confidential information.
• Comfortable working both independently and within a team.
