Electrical Design Engineer

Our client is looking to recruit an Electrical Design Engineer to join their Engineering Department, reporting to the
Electrical Engineering and Automation Team Leader.
Conceptual and detailed design and development of special purpose machinery.
o Design of sophisticated control systems including variable speed drives, PLC and field bus
systems
o Transform a written specification into a complete design including a set of schematic
drawings and a complete bill of materials within the company ERP system
o Design for manufacture and assembly
o Liaising with suppliers on bought out components and with other departments
o Development of test plans and procedures
Lead or support contractual and development projects to aggressive timescales and budgets
Support of associated department's needs (sales, service, production)
