SEN Teacher - Location: Croydon

We are currently working with a fantastic special school in Croydon that is seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is a well-established, supportive school catering for pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs), and moderate to complex learning difficulties.
Class sizes are small (typically 6-8 pupils) with additional support from skilled Teaching Assistants, allowing for a more personalised and therapeutic approach to learning.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of your students. You will be expected to create a nurturing, structured learning environment that promotes both academic and personal development. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team and parents/carers to support each student's EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) outcomes.

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience ina SEN setting.
• Have a strong understanding of Autism and a range of learning needs
• Be confident in behaviour management and personalised teaching approaches
• Be enthusiastic, empathetic, and resilient
• Be available to start immediately after Easter
• Hold a valid DBS certificate (preferably registered on the Update Service)
