Job Title: CNC Miller - Setter/Programmer

Location: Basildon

Job Type: Permanent

Hours of Work: 8 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 8.30 to 15.30

The Role

We are currently seeking a highly experienced CNC Miller - Setter/Programmer to join our clients skilled team. This is not a batch production environment, each component is unique, offering variety and challenge on a daily basis. You'll be responsible for, setting, proving out and operating CNC milling machines, ensuring complex aerospace parts are produced accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibility

• Work independently on Mazak Hurco and Haas CNC milling machines.
• Interpret technical engineering drawings to develop machining strategies.
• Devise effective workholding solutions for bespoke components.
• Set and operate CNC mills to produce precision aerospace components.
• Ensure all work meets tight tolerances and quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with engineers and quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience as a CNC Miller in a high-precision, low-volume environment.
• Strong proficiency in offline programming).
• Ability to work from complex technical drawings with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with Mazatrol, Hurco, Fanuc and Haas control systems.
• Aerospace machining experience is preferred.
• Methodical, detail-oriented, and committed to producing work of the highest quality
