Relief Manager

We are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our friendly, award-winning team as Relief Manager.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Relief Manager will be to provide cover for the management team by looking after the facility, overseeing staff and assisting residents. Attending evening activities and undertaking various administrative duties for the management team.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Respond to emergency calls from the residents, contacting the emergency services if/when required.
• Supervising staff within the dining room/kitchen for the evening meal and serving tea/coffee to residents. On occasions undertaking a full server role to cover holiday or sickness absence.
• Securing the kitchen area after the evening meal and undertaking a tour of the whole building to ensure it is fully secure at night.
• Assisting with the set up and breakdown of evening activities as the need arises.

Our ideal candidate must have:

• Experience in dealing with the general public. People skills, organisational skills and communication skills are required.
• Fluent computer literacy in Word, Excel and other Microsoft office tools
• Good administrative experience, able to multi task and undertake a variety of tasks.
• Cheerfulness and positive work ethic with a sensible attitude
