Job Role: Primary School Learning Support Assistant/Sports Coach

TeacherActive is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant/Sports Coach to join a fantastic primary school in Southend-On-Sea. This is a full-time position with working hours from 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. The role is ideal for someone with previous experience, relevant qualifications, and an enhanced DBS on the update service.

• Supporting KS1 and KS2 students as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
• Assisting SEN students with their learning needs
• Delivering sports activities and promoting physical education throughout the school
• Working alongside teachers to adapt resources and ensure every student reaches their full potential
• Encouraging student engagement and helping foster a positive learning environment

• Previous experience in a similar role is essential
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., LSA qualifications, sports coaching, or similar)
• Enhanced DBS check on the update service
• A passion for supporting children's education and physical development
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
