Field Service Engineer - Boilers & Chillers

Kent Depot £40,000 - £50,000 DOE + Overtime + Call Out Full-Time, Permanent

Pearson Whiffin Recruitment are working with a growing specialist engineering business to recruit a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their busy depot based in Kent.

This role will suit an experienced engineer with strong knowledge of commercial heating and cooling systems who is looking for a varied, hands-on position within a supportive team environment.

The Role:

• Installation, commissioning and maintenance of commercial boilers and air-cooled chillers
• Fault-finding on chilled water systems, AHUs and forced draft burners
• Assisting with pipework modifications within existing plant rooms
• Leading and mentoring engineers on-site when required
• Attending emergency call-outs as part of a rota
• Ensuring all works are carried out safely and in line with regulations

The Candidate:

• Strong background in commercial mechanical pipework and boiler systems
• Experience with chilled water systems, air-cooled chillers and control wiring
• Ideally holds Commercial Gas Safe and F-Gas Refrigeration certification
• Knowledge of Boiler Management Systems (BMS) desirable
• Full, clean driving licence with flexibility to travel to customer sites
• Willing to undergo a DBS check (due to site requirements)

The Package:

• £40,000 - £50,000 DOE
• Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm plus overtime and call-out
