Health, Safety and Fire Manager

We are delighted to partner with a leading Real Estate business in Grays, Essex to appoint a Health, Safety and Fire Manager. This is a full-time, site-based role and the salary is up to £60,000 per annum.

• Manage all Health, Safety and Fire matters on-site and develop a culture of continuous improvement
• Promote best practice and ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Fire legislation
• Implement the fire strategy, complete fire risk assessments and ensure all fire safety systems are fully operational
• Make certain that training is completed by relevant stakeholders and assist with third party audits and maintain ISO standards
• Conduct incident and accident investigations, report near misses and manage contractors
• Look over designs and ensure they comply with fire and health and safety regulations

Qualifications and Experience:

• NEBOSH Diploma or an equivalent level Health and Safety qualification
• NEBOSH Fire Certificate or equivalent
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills
• Property, Retail, Facilities Management or Hospitality sector experience or a transferable industry
