Tutor with strong SEN experience

Whether the student presents with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, speech and language difficulties, or social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, you will play a vital role in supporting them to build confidence, achieve their goals, and enjoy learning.

• Deliver tailored lessons in line with individual EHCPs, learning goals, or personalised support plans.

• Adapt teaching strategies to suit a variety of SEN profiles.

• Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to parents/carers and professionals.

• Work collaboratively with families, schools, and other support professionals as needed.

• Proven experience working with children or young people with special educational needs.

• Strong understanding of different SEN profiles and effective teaching strategies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build trust and rapport with learners.

• Relevant teaching qualification or SEN training
