HLTA - Sittingbourne

Full-time - 130 per day - Immediate start

Tradewind Recruitment are sourcing for HLTA for a full-time role in Sittingbourne. This will be for an immediate start on a full-time basis till the end of the academic year (end of July 2025). The school is a multi-form school in Sittingbourne, accessible via public transport and has on site parking. The school is also graded GOOD by Ofsted and highlighted the focus put on improving and enriching the vocabulary of the children, particularly in KS1. The school also has a strong and well supported provision for children with SEND.

The Role

• Preparing classrooms for lessons, including setting up video presentations and sourcing books and handouts for students
• Teaching classes unassisted, especially when Teachers are ill or on leave
• Working with small groups of students or individuals needing special attention
• Assessing students' progress and discussing development with Teachers, parents and Carers

Requirements

• Experience working as a HLTA would be highly desirable.
• Holding a L4 HLTA qualification would be highly desirable but not essential.
• Experience planning and delivering specialist PPA lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Either have, or be willing to get, an enhanced DBS on the update service.
• Must have right to work in the UK
