Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs?We are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants on behalf of a number of secondary schools in Newham, seeking committed and caring individuals to join their inclusion and learning support teams on a long-term, term-time only basis.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the SENCo to provide targeted support to students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.You'll help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring that every student can access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.

• Providing one-to-one and small group support for students with additional learning needs

• Assisting in the planning and delivery of tailored learning activities

• Supporting students' social and emotional development

• Helping to manage behaviour and promote a positive classroom environment

• Liaising with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support progress

• Contributing to individual education plans (IEPs) and student records
