Freelance Site Manager

Job Title: Freelance Site Manager

Location: NW London

Duration: 10-12 months

Unite People are working with a regional construction contractor to hire a Site Manager for a steel frame- build in North West London. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing delivery of construction work, managing trades staff, overseeing paperwork and providing detailed reports on work carried out.

You will ideally have experience with experience in steel frame units from the ground up, including steel erection, externals, cladding and internal fitout.

Key Requirements:

• SMSTS
• CSCS Card (Gold or Black preferred)
• First Aid at Work
• Previous experience of steel frame new builds
• Previous experience of being a number one Site Manager, delivering commercial build schemes on programme and on budget.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise shifts to ensure project timelines are met
• Oversee health and safety protocols on-site
• Coordinate with subcontractors and site personnel
• Report project progress to the main contractor
• Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the refurbishment
