Electrical Test Engineer

Job Role:

Our well known Social housing client are looking for X2 Electrical Tester for two separate patches. This is a full-time permanent position based in Camden/Kilburn area. As an Electrical Tester, you will be responsible for conducting EICR Reports and remedials on a PDA device within the social housing sector.

Hours: Monday to Friday (8:00am to 5:00pm)

• Location 1 - Slough / Uxbridge (X1 Electrical Tester)
• Location 2 - Kingston / Some SW Postcodes (X1 Electrical Tester)

Duties:

• Carry out periodic inspections of clients electrical installations in accordance with the current edition of BS7671
• Complete follow-on remedial works, where required
• Produce Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR)
• Perform other electrical tests and inspections, and produce the appropriate documentation in accordance with the current edition of BS7671
• Keep abreast of changes and amendments of standards, regulations, and best practices within the electrical industry

Requirements:

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• 2391
• Experience in Social housing
• UK Manual Driving Licence
