GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistant (Nursery TA) to join a vibrant and nurturing school nursery provision in Tower Hamlets. Your role will involve providing both 1:1 and group support, and fostering a safe and engaging learning environment for the children. You will be working closely with teachers and staff to support children s educational and personal development while encouraging positive behaviours and social skills.

As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will be:

• Provide 1:1 and group support within the nursery setting, encouraging positive learning and social interactions.
• Assist with nappy changing and personal care, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
• Support children in developing essential skills through structured play and activities.
• Help to create a warm, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to support the overall learning objectives.
• Implement strategies to enhance children s confidence and independence.
• Maintain accurate records of children s progress and development.

Nursery Teaching Assistant (Nursery TA) Qualification:

• Previous experience working in an Early Years or Nursery setting.
• Confidence in providing nappy changing and personal care support.
• A nurturing and patient personality, with a passion for early childhood development.
• Ability to deliver 1:1 support and facilitate small group activities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively alongside staff members.
• An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one.
