Lead Maintenance EngineerLondon Bridge, City of London £55,000Great role for an experienced Lead Maintenance Engineer to lead a shift team on a fantastic site near London Bridge, working for a large, well renowned, long standing building service provider, you'll be given necessary opportunities to progress within the business, receive extra training, be part of a well experienced team and gain valuable career experience.
This is a static role, following a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, day and night shifts
As the Lead Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance for all electrical and mechanical systems on site, oversee an additional engineer, write up RAMs, Permits, oversee contractors and ensure the client is satisfied with the service provided.
To be successful in the Lead Maintenance Engineer role, you must be fully qualified in either Electrical or Mechanical engineering, have at least 5 years experience in commercial maintenance, led teams of engineers in prior roles, a great understanding of general building services and a client facing attitude.
Lead Maintenance Engineer Duties: - PPMs & Reactive maintenance
- Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
- Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
- Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
- Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
- Organising subcontractors
- Completing logbooks and RAMS
- Reports
- Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
- Permits to work
- Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.
Lead Maintenance Engineer Requirements: - Fully qualified in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds / NVQ / EAL or equivalent)
- At least 5 years experience in commercial maintenance
- Experience overseeing a team of maintenance engineers
- Client facing attitude
- Apprentice trained - Desirable, not essential
- Client facing attitude
Salary and Package: - £55,000 per annum
- 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, days and nights
