A leading manufacturer of high-precision electro-mechanical instruments is looking for Electro-Mechanical Technicians to build a wide range of electro-mechanical products supplied a wide range of industries worldwide.

Electro-Mechanical Technician. What You'll Do:

As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you'll play a crucial role in their production team. You'll work closely with the Production Manager in a technical, low-volume manufacturing environment, ensuring that their products meet the highest standards.

Electro-Mechanical Technician. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and manufacture electro-mechanical components and instruments.

  • Fit and assemble mechanical parts using both machinery and hand tools.

  • Manufacture and install wiring looms, employing techniques like soldering and crimping.

  • Conduct quality testing and fault-finding on instruments to ensure optimal performance.

  • Ensure components are of suitable quality before assembly.

  • Provide occasional support to the Service & Repair department.

  • Adhere to all Health & Safety and ISO guidelines during manufacturing, assembly, and repair.

  • Participate in the development and maintenance of ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards.

What We're Looking For:

  • An Electro-Mechanical Technician with experience in assembling precision electro-mechanical components.

  • Strong background in both mechanical fitting and electrical assembly.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering instructions, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).

  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

  • A proactive team player with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
