Private Client Solicitor - Full-Time East London

A well-established law firm in East London is currently seeking an NQ - 2 years PQE, Private Client Solicitor to join their expanding team. This is a full-time position, and the salary will be based on experience.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in handling a broad range of private client matters, including estate administration (both probate and intestacy), applications for grants of representation, inheritance tax matters, will drafting, lasting powers of attorney (for both property & financial affairs and health & welfare), and Court of Protection deputyship cases.

This is a client-facing role, requiring a confident and empathetic communicator who can engage with clients and colleagues with professionalism, sensitivity, and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on wills, trusts, estate planning, and administration.
• Draft and review legal documents in compliance with current legislation.
• Conduct negotiations and liaise with third parties such as financial institutions and tax authorities.
• Manage a varied caseload while maintaining high standards of client care.
• Stay up to date with legal developments and implement best practices.
• Provide tax-related guidance in the context of estate planning.
