Locum Practice Nurse Needed in South west london

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Practice Nurse to support one of our GP surgery that we work with. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong experience in delivering high-quality patient care and a desire to make a real impact in the community.

What We re Looking For:

• Proficiency in all core Practice Nurse services, including health checks, cervical screening (smears), dressings, wound management, immunisations, and travel vaccinations.
• Expertise in managing Long-Term Conditions such as Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, and Hypertension.
• A strong track record in achieving high QOF standards, with familiarity using the Ardens Template preferred.

Rates can be flexible depending on experience

Role Details:

• Flexible schedule: Ideally, two 4-hour shifts on weekdays and a 3-hour Saturday remote clinic (9:00 am 12:00 pm). (Saturday shift is a mandatory)
• At least two sessions must be face-to-face each week.
• The role is 3 5 sessions per week (4 hours per session).
• Start date: March/April 2025 (earlier start may be possible).
• Open due to the retirement of the current nurse.
• This is an ongoing role with options for a permanent or long-term locum arrangement.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience in managing Asthma, COPD, Hypertension, and Diabetes is a must.
