The Role

As a Refugee Resettlement Adviser, you'll play a vital role in supporting newly arrived refugees and vulnerable migrants as they begin their lives in the UK. You'll be the single point of contact for individuals and families, conducting holistic needs assessments and co-producing tailored resettlement plans. Your work will involve:

  • Providing face-to-face outreach support in the community
  • Collaborating with internal departments and external partners
  • Offering practical and emotional support to help clients access housing, healthcare, education, and employment
  • Managing a diverse caseload and ensuring regular case reviews
  • Staying up to date with relevant legislation and best practices

This is a dynamic, people-focused role where your empathy, problem-solving skills, and commitment to social equity will shine.

About You:

We're seeking someone who is passionate about supporting vulnerable communities and has the skills to make a meaningful impact. You should have:

  • Experience working with refugees, asylum seekers, or vulnerable migrants
  • A strong understanding of statutory and voluntary services
  • Excellent communication and research skills
  • The ability to manage a complex caseload and work independently in the community
  • A commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion
