Primary Teaching Assistant

Long Term Futures is currently seeking a highly motivated Primary Teaching Assistant to integrate into a thriving educational setting in the Hounslow area.

This pivotal support role involves specialising in the academic and emotional progress of young pupils, with a focus on either Early Years (EYFS) or Key Stage 1 (KS1). We are dedicated to placing our candidates in stable, long-term roles which often provide a smooth transition to permanent school contracts. To simplify the recruitment process, we frequently use short, paid trial days instead of traditional interviews, ensuring the position is an ideal match for both you and the school.

• Provide essential in-class support and assistance to young students.

• Actively encourage positive behaviour and key socialisation skills.

• Contribute effectively to boosting pupil self-belief and enthusiasm for learning.

• Engage in a collaborative partnership with the class teacher on lesson preparation and monitoring pupil development.

• Mandatory prior experience working as a Primary Teaching Assistant is required.

• A proven background of working specifically within the Early Years Foundation Stage or Key Stage 1.

• Possesses a naturally nurturing and patient approach when supporting primary-aged pupils.

• An excellent ability to establish strong connections with children, staff, and parents.

• Secure, ongoing employment offering a clear pathway to a permanent role within the school.
