Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Assistant Greenkeeper to help maintain their stunning 18-hole golf course to the highest standard.

Set in the picturesque Surrey countryside, the company is renowned for its excellent facilities and breathtaking views. Their team is dedicated to delivering a premium golfing experience, and the role of their Greenkeeping team is essential to achieving this.

Are you the right person for the job?

• For experienced candidates: Relevant qualifications (such as NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf) and experience in a similar role are preferred
• For apprenticeships: No prior experience is required, just a positive attitude and a desire to build a career in Greenkeeping. Full training and support will be provided
• Holds a valid driving license (essential)
• Has a genuine passion for working outdoors and maintaining high-quality landscapes
• Ideally has some experience in Greenkeeping, turf management, or landscaping (though not essential)
• Is reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn
• Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in their work

What will your role look like?

• Assist in the daily maintenance of the golf course, including mowing, bunker preparation, turf care, and landscaping
• Operate and maintain a variety of turf machinery and equipment
• Help ensure the course is presented to a consistently high standard for members and visitors
• Work with the Greenkeeping team to implement course improvement projects
• Adhere to health and safety standards at all times
