Duties:
As an Entry Level Accounts Assistant, you'll be an essential part of the finance team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Data entry of purchase and sales invoices
• Creation and maintenance of supplier records
• Payment of supplier invoices through the purchase ledger routine
• Inputting urgent payments and creating BACS payment files
• Maintenance and input of standing invoice and payment records
• Responding to supplier and agent queries with professionalism
• Performing allocated bank reconciliations
• Producing and checking Debtors & Creditors reports and aged analyses
• Weekly reconciliation of the purchase ledger clearing account
• Recording and allocating daily cheque receipts
• Identifying and creating credit notes
• Responding to tenant and agent queries
• Operating the Direct Debit collection scheme, including setup and maintenance
• Liaising with agents regarding amounts to collect by Direct Debit
• Managing the tenant deposit scheme, including recording receipts and returning deposits
• Daily reconciliation of the general client bank account
• Monthly reconciliation of the Direct Debit clearing account

Person Specification:
To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively
• A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy
• A genuine desire to work within accounts
• A minimum of A Levels
