Warehouse Auditor

About the role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse Auditor to join our expanding Operations Team at our Academia Lifecycle Services warehouse in Reading. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing organisation where attention to detail and a proactive approach are highly valued.

The role will involve capturing and recording data on incoming IT equipment and inventory using our computerised system (Razor). You'll be responsible for interrogating miscellaneous IT equipment to identify and log key details such as make, model, and serial number, ensuring accurate and thorough data entry.

You'll also support wider warehouse operations including stock taking, handling hazardous materials (e.g. batteries), and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Full training will be provided to ensure you're confident and capable in all aspects of the role.

This role supports the Warehouse and Logistics Team, contributing to the smooth running of inventory management and compliance processes. You'll report to the Warehouse Manager and work closely with the Warehouse Operatives and wider Operations Team on a daily basis.

You will be responsible for:

• Identifying, capturing, and recording data on incoming equipment and inventory into our system (Razor).
• Interrogating IT equipment to record make, model, serial number, and other relevant details.
• Operating safely and in compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Assisting with stock taking as required.
• Undertaking training for job requirements and ongoing development.
• Handling hazardous materials (e.g. batteries) appropriately - full training provided.
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy to support operational efficiency.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and information security responsibilities.
