Bookkeeper

A well-established boutique Accounting Practice with a loyal client base and long serving team members. This firm of Accountants are a very supportive team, who work closely together to service their clients professionally and effectively.

Job Details

• Role Type Part Time Permanent
• Location Hybrid/Hertfordshire - to be discussed.
• Hours/Days(per week): 3 days per week 9am to 5.30pm (flexible).
• Salary Range - Up to £35,000 per annum (depending on experience), to be pro rate for part time hours.
• Benefits ; Discretionary bonus, private medical insurance and 20 days annual leave per annum plus bank holidays (to be pro-rate for part time).

Job Responsibilities Include
• Bookkeeping for a range of clients.
• Preparation of VAT returns.
• Payroll processing.
• Preparation of management accounts for some clients.
• Assist clients with Xero set up and ad hoc queries.

Qualifications/Experience
• AAT, ACCA or qualified by experience
• Must have Full UK Right to Work
• Management of client portfolio experience would be an advantage.
• Proficient using cloud-based software such as Xero, and Microsoft Office packages (especially Excel).
• A good knowledge of VAT administration.
• Payroll would be advantageous.
