Underwriting Analyst - Controls

We are supporting a very highly respected Lloyd's Insurance market Syndicate who are currently recruiting for an Underwriting Analyst to join their Underwriting Governance Management team.

You will have worked within a Syndicate where you have had exposure to working closely with the Underwriters ensuring they follow the corrects controls and processes when taking on a Risk.
This will include monitoring Exception Reports, adding to Policy Documents etc.

You may be working in a Risk Analyst role or within Operations or Compliance Analysts roles but it is vital that you have worked closely with the Underwriters carrying out similar duties.

This is very exciting opportunity for an ambitious Underwriting Analyst who is very creative in coming up with new
ideas to improve the processes and procedures.

As this is a new role,you can really make it your own and they encourage you to work on your own initiative and also take on more responsibilities as the role evolves.

The main priority of the role will be to assist with the continuous improvement of the
Underwriting Controls Framework, the timely and accurate production of reporting, and supporting
initiatives to improve the quality of data within the Underwriting Systems.

It is ESSENTIAL that you have good Excel skills,particularly VLookups and Pivot Tables and have a good
understanding of Insurance/Underwriting terminology.

They are offering a salary upto 60,000 and also an excellent range of benefits. As well as this they offer a hybrid working pattern of 60% of the month in the office 40% at home.
