• RTPI membership (or working towards chartership)
• Strong experience in town planning, preferably within a consultancy or local authority setting
• Comprehensive knowledge of UK planning regulations and policies
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
