Senior Project Planner

As our projects grow in scale and complexity, we are looking for a Senior Project Planner to join our expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a dynamic project portfolio within a major EPCM framework, contributing to the success of high-impact infrastructure and life sciences projects.

The OpportunityAs a Senior Project Planner, you'll play a key role in planning and scheduling multi-disciplinary design projects. You'll work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Clients to ensure robust programme development, progress tracking, and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
• Collaborate with project teams to gather input and ensure schedule accuracy
• Monitor progress, analyse variances, and provide clear, actionable reporting
• Lead planning practices and support change control processes
• Conduct critical path analysis and develop mitigation strategies
• Produce schedule narratives and contribute to monthly reporting

About You

• Extensive experience in project planning within infrastructure or life sciences sectors
• Proficient in Primavera P6
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts and the RIBA Plan of Work
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills
• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Confident, proactive, and solutions-focused with a "can-do" attitude
